BANGALORE, JAN. 18. The Mayor, P.R. Ramesh, has said that a well-equipped modern public library would be opened in Vijaynagar in February. The Mayor was inspecting development work in the Binnypet Assembly Constituency along with the MLA, V. Somanna. The Mayor inspected a park and a swimming pool developed by the BMP in Ward No. 34. Mr. Somanna told the Mayor that Rs. 40 lakh had been allocated for setting up a cultural centre in Vijaynagar. H. Ravindra, corporator, accompanied the Mayor.
