Divert buses
May I suggest that at least the buses (route nos. 138 and 139) from Jeevan Beemanagar be diverted on their return journey to ply through Thippasandra Main Road. J.R. Rajamani, Bangalore.
A useful project
However, from the engineering angle, it appears that the northernmost loop has extended by about 1.5 km. unnecessarily, adding to the cost of the project. Considering the factors such as gradient, radius of turn, banking, even on the highways in the U.K. and the U.S., and the autobahn in Germany, where vehicles cruise at over 120 kmph., the multiple omnidirectional flyovers are more compact and symmetrical.
H.P. Hande, Bangalore.
