Clear sky forecast

The city on Sunday recorded a maximum temperature of 30.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 14.9 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorology Department. Corresponding readings for the airport were 30.1 and 13.4. No rain was recorded on Sunday. Relative humidity was 34 per cent in the city and 28 per cent at the airport. There will be clear skies on Monday and the minimum temperature will be around 15 degrees Celsius, according to the department forecast.

Water adalat

The Bangalore Water Supply and Seweragte Board (BWSSB) will hold "water adalat" on Monday and Tuesday for South-3 and West-2 subdivision to settle disputes pertaining to billing, delay in giving connection and so on. The south-3 sub-division covers BTM Layout, J.P.Nagar, Koramangala, and HSR Layout. The West-2 sub-division covers Rajajinagar 1st to 6th block, Mahalakshmi Layout, Peenya Industrial Area, Rajajinagar 2nd Stage, Subramanya Nagar, Milk Colony, Nandini Layout, and Kethamanrana Halli service station. The grievances of the residents will be heard at the respective AEE offices at 11 a.m. and 9.30 a.m.

Water supply may be hit

There will be disruption in water supply in some parts of the city due mechanical works undertaken by the BWSSB in connection with Domlur flyover on January 21 and 22. The areas affected are Domlur, Domlur 2nd Stage, HAL 2nd Stage, Kodihalli, Nanjareddy Colony, Konana Agrahara, Command Hospital, CPWD Quarters, PWD quarters, and surrounding areas.

Kannada classes

The Kannada Parasara Parishat is starting its next batch of free Kannada classes this month. There will be separate classes for speaking and writing. It will be held at St. Euphrasia's Girls High School, Albert Street, Shoolay Circle, Richmond Town. For details, contact Raghavan (ph: 3504007).
