Dry weather

CHENNAI, JAN. 19. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperatures rose at one or two places over South Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Rayalaseema and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably below normal at one or two places over North coastal Tamil Nadu, below normal at a few places over North interior Karnataka, at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, South coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and South Kerala, appreciably above normal at one or two places over North coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at one or two places over Telangana and were generally normal over the rest of the region. Belgaum Airport recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 12 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (Valid until Wednesday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

FORECAST (for Chennai city and neighbourhood): Mainly clear sky. Minimum temperature will be around 19 degree Celsius.

Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry: Forecast (valid until Wednesday morning): Mainly sunny weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
