By Our Staff Reporter
PONDICHERRY, JAN. 19. The Chairman of the Pondicherry Housing Board, R. Nalamagarajan, has urged the AICC president, Sonia Gandhi, to contest the Lok Sabha poll from Pondicherry. In a release here today, Mr. Nalamagarajan (Congress MLA) said the Union Territory had made phenomenal growth, thanks to the special care given by the former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. The entire party machinery, legislators and voters would only be pleased to have Sonia Gandhi as their representative to guide the destiny of the nation as Prime Minister, he said.
