VHR's plea on SIT probe

HYDERABAD, JAN.20. The AICC secretary, V. Hanumantha Rao, on Tuesday urged the Government to take the SIT probe into the stamp paper scam in the State to its logical conclusion.

Referring to the allegations that senior police officers were involved in it, he said that the Government must honestly get the probe conducted. Otherwise, it would give room to the suspicion that political bosses too were involved in it, he added.
