Found murdered
A Railway employee, P. Veeraraju (32), who was missing from January 15, was found murdered on the outskirts of Mirzaguda village under the Narsingi Police Station area on Tuesday.
The police suspect that Veeraraju was strangulated to death and dumped in bushes.
Dies in mishap: A driver of the Transport Department, Dasharathi (40), died on the spot on Tuesday when the scooter he was driving was knocked down by a private college bus at Hydershahkot under the Narsingi Police Station area.
Fake stamp case: The A.P. Stamps Investigation Team (SIT) has brought an accused in the fake stamp papers case, Hameed, who was already apprehended by the Bangalore police, for questioning from Bangalore to Hyderabad.
Police said that Hameed would be produced before the court on Wednesday.
