BANGALORE, JAN. 20. Two children were among four people killed in road accidents in Bangalore in the past two days. Tina (5), who was riding on a motorcycle with her parents, was killed after a mini bus collided with the vehicle in 3rd Block, Jayanagar, on Tuesday morning. She and her parents fell from the motorcycle after the collision, and the bus ran over her. The family (the name of Tina's father was given as Thomas) was returning home to B.T.M. Layout after a visit to their native place in Kerala. Their luggage was also on the motorcycle. Jayanagar police have registered a case. Babu (15), a 10th standard student, was fatally knocked down by a truck at Mugabelu village in Nandagudi police limits on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday morning. Police said Babu, son of Narayanaswamy from Mugabelu, was crossing the road around 8.30 a.m. when the accident occurred. Shivaram (32), who was riding a scooterette, died when his vehicle was hit by a KSRTC bus between Anand Rao Circle and Khoday's Circle in Upparpet police limits around 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday. A security guard at the Reserve Bank of India, Shivaram was on his way to the bank from his house in Nandini Layout. Parthibhan alias Babu (28) of Ramamurthynagar Manjunath Layout died when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a van on Varthur Road in H.A. L. police station limits on Monday night. The pillion rider, Raju suffered minor injuries. Airport traffic police have arrested the van driver and confiscated the vehicle.
