Mainly dry weather

CHENNAI, JAN. 21. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperatures rose appreciably at one or two places over north coastal Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka, rose at a few places over Rayalaseema, at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, fell at one or two places over Telangana and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

They were below normal at one or two places over north Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at one or two places over Telangana and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Gulbarga recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (Valid until Friday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
