THRISSUR, JAN. 21. The following are the competitions being held at the 44th State School Youth Festival on Thursday:

Corporation Stadium: Kuchipudi (boys), 9 a.m., (girls), 1-30 p.m., prize distribution, 6-30 p.m., Oppana, 7 p.m.

Town Hall: Kathaprasangam, 9 a.m., light music, 11-30 a.m., Thiruvathirakkali (Teachers' Training Institute festival), 2 p.m., Thiruvathirakali (Pre-Primary Teachers' Training Institute festival), 5 p.m., Thrivathirakali (high school), 7-30 p.m.

Regional Theatre: Drama, 9 a.m.

Training College ground: Chenda, 9 a.m., Chendamelam, 11-30 a.m., maddalam, 1-30 p.m., Kathakali (solo-boys), 3 p.m., (solo-girls), 6 p.m.

Model Boys' Auditorium: Guitar, 9 a.m., Kathakali music (boys), 11-30 a.m., Kathakali music (girls), 1-30 p.m., Tabla, 5 p.m.

Sacred Heart Convent Auditorium: Malayalam recitation, 9 a.m., Malayalam elocution, 11-30 a.m. and 1-30 p.m., English elocution, 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Sahitya Akademi Hall: Sanskrit seminar, 9 a.m., Patakam (boys and girls), 2 p.m.

Natyagriham (Sangeeta Nataka Akademi compound): Action song (PPTTI), 9 a.m.

Jawahar Bal Bhavan: Teaching (PPTTI) Malayalam, 9 a.m., science, 11 a.m., maths, 2 p.m. Changampuzha Hall: Essay-writing (Malayalam), 9 a.m., English, 2 p.m., Story-writing, 4 p.m.
