Fitch upgrades India's rating
MUMBAI,
JAN. 21.
Fitch Ratings, the international rating agency, today upgraded India's long term foreign currency rating to `BB+' from `BB' and affirmed the long term local currency rating at `BB+'. The outlook on the ratings is stable. The upgrade reflects India's strengthening balance of payments position and rapidly improving external balance sheet. Our Special Correspondent
