Biggest diamond sold in auction

HYDERABAD, JAN. 21. The biggest diamond excavated from the Majhgaon mine of the National Mineral Development Corporation's diamond project at Panna, Madhya Pradesh, was sold by the NMDC in a public auction on Tuesday.

According to an NMDC press release here, the biggest diamond, weighing 30.3 carats, was sold in the auction at Panna and fetched Rs. 91.99 lakhs.
