Grant for artists

HYDERABAD, JAN.21. The State Government has accorded sanction for an amount of Rs.11,72,500 during 2003-04 to meet the expenditure towards sanction of financial assistance to indigent artists and men of letters at the rate of Rs.500 each for one month (June 2002), covering 2,345 artists, according to an official press release.
