Sir, The 10-point agenda proposed by the Government to bring peace and prosperity to South Asia is worth adopting by the countries of the region. South Asia has remained backward for lack of cooperation among the countries in tackling common enemies terrorism and poverty.

* * * Sir, The External Affairs Minister, Yashwant Sinha, was right when he said external powers cannot solve the problems of South Asia. Hereafter India should not ask the U.S. to press Pakistan to stop cross-border terrorism.
