More Gyan Vani channels
The Union Human Resources Development Minister, Murli Manohar Joshi, will inaugurate and dedicate the channels to the nation for enhancing access to and quality of higher education. The Gyan Vani Channels will be operational in all four metros.
Russian folk dance, music programme
The 13-member troupe, led by vocal singer Olga Savelieva arrived in India on January 5 on a 20-day performance tour of the country. The troupe includes leading musician, guitar player and vocal singer, Sergey Bortsaykin, eminent singers, Nina Chernoletskaya and Evgeny Sedov and others. The troupe had won the top award at "Voice of Russia" competition.
