Priyanka, Rahul's decision welcomed

HYDERABAD, JAN. 22. Congress leaders in the State have welcomed Priyanka Vadra and Rahul Gandhi, daughter and son of Sonia Gandhi, taking the primary membership of the party.

Greeting them on the occasion, the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president, D. Srinivas, former president, M. Satyanarayana Rao, and former Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, invited at least one of them to contest the polls from the State to any of the Lok Sabha seats.

Dr. Reddy went a step ahead and invited either of them to contest from Cuddapah, his native district.
