THRISSUR, JAN. 22. The following are the competitions to be held on Friday at the 44th State Schools Youth Festival:

Corporation Stadium: Folk dance - boys, 9 a.m., girls, 11-30 a.m., prize distribution, 4 p.m., group dance, 4-30 p.m.

Town Hall: Daffumuttu, 9 a.m., Arabanamuttu, 11-30 a.m., Oppana -- Pre-Primary Teachers Training Institute festival, 4 p.m., Teachers' Training Institute festival, 7 p.m.

Regional Theatre: Drama, 9 a.m.

Training College Ground: Mimicry, 9 a.m., folk dance (TTI, PPTTI), 1-30 p.m., Kathakali (group), 4 p.m.

Model Boys' Auditorium: Ashtapadi - boys, 9 a.m., girls, 1-30 p.m., 'Vandemataram', 4 p.m.

Sacred Heart Convent Auditorium -- Drama (TTI), 9 a.m., drama (PPTTI), 4 p.m.

Sahitya Akademi Hall: Hindi recitation, 9 a.m., Malayalam elocution (TTI), 11-30 a.m., Malayalam elocution (PPTTI), 1-30 p.m.

Natyagriham: Aksharashloka, 9 a.m., Aksharashloka (TTI), 12 noon.

Jawahar Balbhavan: Classical music -- boys, 9 a.m., girls, 12-30 p.m., Chakyakoothu, 3-30 p.m. Changampuzha Hall: 'Samasya Pooranam', 9 a.m., 'Prashnothari', 11-30 a.m., Elocution, 2-30 p.m.
