Naxal surrenders before Medak SP

HYDERABAD, JAN. 22. A member of the CPI(ML) Janashakthi Rajanna faction, Kuntibalu Mahender alias Ravikiran alias Manohar, surrendered before the Medak Superintendent of Police, D.S. Chauhan, here on Thursday.

A press release said Mahender was a native of Dommata village in Doulathabad mandal of Medak district. He was involved in a murder case, beating up of three DWCRA group members of Rangampet village and attempt to kill a Telugu Desam Party leader of Chinna Lingapur.Mahender said he was surrendering as he was "terrified by the death of his associates and to take care of members of his family."
