Five sentenced to life term on murder charge

BANGALORE, JAN. 22. A Fast Track Court on Thursday convicted and sentenced five people to life imprisonment for allegedly murdering and robbing a lorry driver of cash in Madivala Police limits in 2000.

The names of the accused were given as Suhail, Shankar, Saleem, Chand Pasha and Venugopal.

They waylaid the lorry near Koodlu Gate on Hosur Raod and allegedly murdered the driver, Somasundaram.

The Madivala Police, who arrested the five-member gang, filed the chargesheet against the accused.
