BANGALORE, JAN. 23. Harinder Gupta and Vikrant Chopra, both from Oil and Natural Gas Commission, excelled in the opening round of the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board inter-unit golf tournament at the Karnataka Golf Association course here on Friday. Harinder and Vikrant carded 3-under 69 to lead in the individual section of the tournament and with Jaskirat Dullet carding 2-over, the ONGC team, current holder of the team title also built up a fair lead in the two day tournament. The scores: Individuals: Vikrant Chopra and Harinder Gupta (69 each), Manav Das (71), Jaideep Patwardhan (72), Simarjeet Singh, Anitya Chand and Manav Jaini (73 each). Teams: ONGC (212), Oil India Limited (218), IOC (219), Gas Authority of India Limited (220).
