Harinder, Vikrant hog the limelight

BANGALORE, JAN. 23. Harinder Gupta and Vikrant Chopra, both from Oil and Natural Gas Commission, excelled in the opening round of the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board inter-unit golf tournament at the Karnataka Golf Association course here on Friday. Harinder and Vikrant carded 3-under 69 to lead in the individual section of the tournament and with Jaskirat Dullet carding 2-over, the ONGC team, current holder of the team title also built up a fair lead in the two day tournament.

The scores: Individuals: Vikrant Chopra and Harinder Gupta (69 each), Manav Das (71), Jaideep Patwardhan (72), Simarjeet Singh, Anitya Chand and Manav Jaini (73 each).

Teams: ONGC (212), Oil India Limited (218), IOC (219), Gas Authority of India Limited (220).
