Turbomeca SA to set up Indian arm

NEW DELHI, JAN. 23. French turbocharger maker Turbomeca SA will set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in India with Rs. 3.50 crore equity investment to manufacture, design, assemble and sell turbochargers besides providing after sales service for the product. Initially, turbochargers will be imported from France and various other components sourced from India through sub-contracting to third party manufacturers, sources said here today. — PTI
