MANGALORE, JAN. 23. The Small Industries Service Institute (SISI), Ministry of Small-scale Industries, Government of India, has decided to conduct a five-day management development programme on "Small business management" from February 9. A press release from the in-charge Deputy Director of SISI, P.V. Velayudhan, said businessmen, prospective entrepreneurs, and management and engineering students could participate in the programme, which was being organised in association with the Kanara Small Industries Association (KSIA), Bykampady, at the KSIA hall. Experts would speak about the latest techniques in small business management in the context of globalisation, the release said. For details and registration, candidates should contact the Deputy Director (I/c), SISI, Plot No. L-11, Industrial Estate, Yeyyadi, Mangalore (ph: 2217696).
