No power

COIMBATORE, JAN. 23 . There will be no power supply in the following places from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 24, as the Palladam and Pongalur sub-stations will be shut down for maintenance, according to a TNEB release:

Palladam Town, Naranapuram, Ammapalayam, Anna Nagar, Panapalayam, Kalivelampatty, Palliappampalayam, Madhapur, Panickampatty, Venkitapuram, Pongalur, Ponnapalayam, Thottampatty, Kallipalayam, South Avanashipalayam and North Avanashipalayam.

Orders

The DIG of Police, Coimbatore Range, Ashutosh Shukla, (holding additional charge as Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City) has promulgated regulatory orders, banning assemblies, meetings and processions at public places for 15 days till the midnight of February 6.
