COIMBATORE, JAN. 24. The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA) and the St. John's Ambulance Association would conduct an eight-day part-time first-aid training programme, at CODISSIA Hall, from January 27 to February 4, excluding Sunday (February). The syllabus would cover functions of various parts of the human body, different kinds of bones, blood circulation, bruises, fractures, snakebites, food poisoning, scratches and electric shock. Classes would be conducted for two hours every evening, from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. The St. John's Ambulance Association would issue certificates to the trained candidates.
