Call to make Pondy `Number One' State

PONDICHERRY, JAN. 25. The president of the Pondicherry Pradesh Congress Committee, V. Narayanasamy, has said there should be strenuous efforts to make Pondicherry a `Number One' State in the country.

In his Republic Day message, Mr. Narayanasamy said there should be a total dedication to make the country as the most powerful nation. People should take a pledge in this regard. The Ministers and leaders of various political parties greeted the people.
