Good knock by Siddarth

MADURAI, JAN. 25. A brilliant knock of 70 by Siddarth helped TVS Srichakra Tyres Cricket Club defeat Eleven Bullets Cricket Club by 103 runs and enter the final of the Kumar Surya Prakash Rajamannar Memorial Trophy district level cricket tournament conducted by Majestic Cricket Club at Madura College ground here on Sunday.

The scores (Semi-finals):

TVS Srichakra Tyres CC 209 for nine in 30 overs (Siddarth 70, Subramania Raja 29 not out, Senthil three for 51, Nawaz three for 12) bt Eleven Bullets CC 106 for eight in 30 overs (Arun three for 24).

Quarterfinals: Majestic Cubs 125 in 23.3 overs (Rajendran 52, Arun three for 16, Balachandra Kumar three for 23) lost to TVS Srichakra Tyres CC 128 for four in 21.4 overs (Meenakshisundaram 48). Eleven Bullets CC w/o Freak Cricket Club.
