Security forces busted a number of militant hideouts and recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition including RDX, rockets and grenades in continuing operations in Jammu and Kashmir since yesterday. Official sources said that in a joint operation by the State police and security forces at village Duban Nar Kachahama in north Kashmir late on Saturday night a militant hideout was busted and an arms cache uncovered. In another operation at Check Boniyar Uri, near the Line of Control in Baramulla district security forces busted another hideout and found weapons and ammunition. Security forces apprehended a militant identified as Zahoor Ahmad Dar at Ranzipora Tral in south Kashmir last evening and recovered a hand grenade from him.
