Laying the foundation stone for construction of 646 houses to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.87 crores under VAMBAY housing programme at Papireddy Nagar and Gowlidoddi colonies, Mr. Dattatreya said prime and costly lands in the municipality has been identified and allotted to the most poorest of the poor families after an exclusive survey. Responding to the requests of local residents, he assured to take up construction of over bridge or under bridge under the railway track for easy access to the main Mumbai highway road. Mr. Dattatreya said a total of 7,146 houses at a cost of Rs.42 crores with 50 per cent subsidy component from Union Government and a loan component of Rs.21.32 crores was sanctioned under VAMBAY in Ranga Reddy district. The Minister for Commercial Taxes, K.
