Misty morning forecast
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at Safdarjung on Sunday were 18.1 and 8 degrees Celsius, while Palam recorded 17.5 and 7.8 degrees Celsius respectively. Safdarjung recorded a maximum humidity of 97 per cent and minimum of 64 per cent, while in Palam, the maximum humidity was 100 per cent and the minimum was 57 per cent.
Fatally stabbed
The police said the victim, Ramesh, a resdient of Pandav Nagar, had gone to the shop of Harish at around 10-30 p.m. There was a heated argument between the two over the payment of the sum following which Harish stabbed Ramesh with a pair of scissors.
Vehicle robbed
The police said two youths had hired the Maruti 800 (HR-26-2845) taxi of Anil (29), a resident of Colony Road, Gurgaon, for going to Anand Vihar Terminal. However, on they way they attacked the driver with knives and then forced him out of the vehicle near Hans Raj Model School in Punjabi Bagh, before fleeing with it.
Found hanging
The police suspect that the deceased, Raj Kumar, who lived in a rented room nearby and was a native of Rae Bareilly, may have committed suicide.

Liquor seized
According to the police, the Special Staff had information that a person carrying illicit liquor in an auto-rickshaw would come to Punjabi Bagh from Bahadurgarh. The police laid a trap and arrested him. They recovered 32 cartons of country-made liquor.
