Rationalist association leader to be prosecuted

KOLLAM, JAN. 27. The State Government has given the sanction to prosecute the general secretary of the Bharatiya Rationalists Association, Sreeni Pattathanam, and two others in connection with authoring and publishing a book "Mata Amritanandamayi: Divyakathakalum Yatharthyangalum''.

The order issued by the Home Department, under GO number 211/04 and dated January 20, 2004, has been sent to Mr. Pattathanam, the author of the book, P.S. Kumar, owner of the publishing company, and S. Saji, printer.

Meanwhile, association has registered a strong protest against the Government decision to prosecute Mr. Pattathanam and the others.
