Two killed in accidents

KANCHEEPURAM, JAN.27. Two persons were killed in two accidents in Kancheepuram district yesterday.

Police sources said Poongavanam (40) of Tindivanam was fatally knocked down by a van while she was standing at the bus stop at Thozhupedu for going to Tindivanam. In another accident, Manoj (8) of Kappivakkam, near Soonambedu, was fatally knocked down by a car while he was crossing the East Coast Road near Kolathur.
