BANGALORE, JAN. 27. Hanumathanagar police on Sunday arrested a 52-year-old PWD employee on charges of raping a 19-year-old girl after promising to find her a job. It is said that the accused, Srinivasamurthy, working at the Kumara Krupa Guest house and was a resident of Hanumanthanagar. He persuaded the girl to come to his house under the pretext of preparing some documents to help her find a job. Although the woman tried to resist, she was overpowered and assaulted, police said. Based on her complaint, police arrested Srinivasmurthy.
