HYDERABAD, JAN. 28. The Beeraka Beauty and Cosmetics Clinic has installed an alternative oxygen machine that facilitates fast healing of wounds, especially among diabetes and asthma patients. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Jayalakshmi Beeraka of the clinic claimed the machine was the first of its kind in the State and said it provides supplementary oxygen which would be useful for those residing in polluted environment of urban and industrial areas, suffering from disorders in breathing apart from purifying the blood. Dr.Beeraka claimed the machine improved oxygen delivery to vital organs apart from increasing metabolic rate that helped in fighting obesity. In sessions lasting for 15 minutes, about three litres of oxygen per minute would be provided to adults at a cost of Rs. 60, she said.
