BANGALORE, JAN. 28. Soon, apart from paying your power, water and telephone bills, you can also pay credit card dues at one of the new kiosks put up by the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB). On Wednesday, the Bangalore Development Minister, Ramalinga Reddy, inaugurated another of the BWSSB's KaveriEcom multi-utility' cash kiosks, at Advaith fuel station, BTM Layout. So far, the BWSSB has installed 32 such kiosks and plans to add 20 more "in the near future" in different parts of the city. Each kiosk, designed and fabricated by Tata Infotech, costs a little over Rs. 50 lakh. At present, a customer can pay utility bills at the kiosks but he or she could soon get "access to web-enabled customer care services", said a pressnote from the BWSSB.
