Letters to the Editor
Sir, The simmering feud between the veteran Congress leader, K. Karunakaran, and the Kerala Chief Minister, A.K. Antony, has led to the former announcing his intent to form a new party. The Congress can ill-afford rampant factionalism on the eve of the general elections. It is time the party leadership realises the magnitude of the crisis and defuses it as soon as possible lest the party's support base is further eroded.
H.P. Murali,
Sir, Mr. Karunakaran's plan to launch a new party is certainly a blow to the already ailing Congress.
K.P. Ashok Kumar,
