Letters to the Editor
Sir, The mini-version of the Exim policy announced by the Union Commerce and Industry Minister, Arun Jaitley (Jan. 29), comes close on the heels of a heap of sops for various segments declared by the Finance Minister, Jaswant Singh. While time alone can tell the impact of these measures on the economy, one cannot help feeling that they deserved to be within the realm of consideration for the next Government.
