HCL Technologies has announced an interim dividend of 100 per cent. Revenue for the quarter ended December 31, 2003 has grown by 33 per cent to Rs. 622.32 crores from 467.93 crores. The gross profit has increased by 10 per cent to Rs.226.34 crores from Rs. 205.68 crores. The profit before tax has increased by 20 per cent to Rs. 99.40 crores from Rs. 82.90 crores. The stake in HCL Perot System has been fully divested in favour of joint venture partner for a consideration of Rs. 4.8 billion.
Sundaram Clayton
Sundaram Clayton has reported higher turnover and profits in the three months ended December 31, 2003. Total income was higher at Rs. 121.12 crores against Rs. 86.73 crores in the same period in the previous year. The profit, before tax has risen to Rs. 19.47 crores from Rs. 16.15 crores and the profit after tax at Rs. 15 crores against Rs. 12.21 crores.
MRO-TEK
MRO-TEK, last mile access and network solutions provider, has reported an income of Rs. 26.18 crores for the third quarter ended December 31, 2003 against Rs. 25.60 crores in the same period last year. The profit, after taxation, has improved by 73 per cent to Rs. 2.77 crores from Rs. 1.60 crores. In the nine months ended December 31, 2003, total income was Rs. 76.36 crores (Rs. 62.41 crores) and the net profit was Rs. 5.80 crores (Rs. 5.61 crores)
