South Indian Bank net up
KOCHI: The Thrissur-based South Indian Bank has recorded a net profit of Rs. 64.80 crores for the nine months ended December 31, 2003 against Rs. 54.70 crores, a growth of 18.5 per cent. The bank Chairman, A. Sethumadhavan, said the operating profit had shot up to Rs. 197.75 crores from Rs. 161.23 crores, after provisioning against NPAs.
