NEW DELHI, JAN. 29. Two persons, allegedly involved in the murder of a Times of India employee at Nabi Karim in Central Delhi on December 28 last, have been arrested by the West Delhi police. According to the police, the Special Staff of West Delhi police received a tip-off about the presence of two suspects involved in the murder at Moti Nagar in West Delhi. Accordingly, a trap was laid on Wednesday and the accused, identified as Vinod (24) and Manoj (19), were arrested when they appeared on the scene. Two knives were also recovered from them. During interrogation, the accused revealed that they, along with their associates - Darshan, Sanjay and Sunny, intercepted Dinesh Sharma, an employee with the Times of India, when he was going home. They tried to snatch the bag but Dinesh offered resistance. Vinod and Darshan then whipped out knives and stabbed him several times on his right thigh and lower back. Dinesh collapsed and bled profusely. He was later taken to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. Vinod, who had been involved in cases of robbery and snatching, also told the police that he wanted to go to Ahmedabad to meet his wife and children. But he had no money and, therefore, he wanted to rob somebody. He found Rs. 500 in Dinesh's bag.
