New priorities for Delhi police

NEW DELHI, JAN. 29. The Police Commissioner-designate, Krishan Kant Paul, today said one of the prime tasks before the Delhi police was be to instil a sense of security among the citizens of the Capital.

Mr. Paul, who would be taking over from Radhey Shyam Gupta on January 31, said the police would have to remain alert and try hard to keep the law and order situation under control. The officer, presently Special Commissioner (Administration), was talking informally to mediapersons.
