KOCHI, JAN. 30. The head of the Mangalabharati Ashram, Kumaraswami, 83, died today at the ashram in Thottuva, Perumbavoor. A disciple of Nataraja Guru, he attained Samadhi at 4 a.m. The last rites were performed at 5 p.m. on the Ashram premises. He had a large number of followers from different communities. umaraswami was born in the Kuppampuram family in Mambuzhakari, Kuttanadu. He stayed at the Gurukulam of Mangalanda Swamy at Varkala and received the Sanyasa deeksha from Nataraja Guru. He established ashrams in Ooty and Ezhimala in 1967 as per the orders of Nataraja Guru.
