ITF junior meet from tomorrow

NEW DELHI, JAN. 31. Players from 17 countries are scheduled to compete in the Adidas ITF grade `II' junior tennis tournament to be played at the DLTA Complex here from February 2 to 7.

``It is nice to have so many international junior tournaments at home. It helps the players make points and compete overseas. Am looking forward to an eventful week'', said the former captain of the Davis Cup team, Ramesh Krishnan, at a press conference here on Saturday.

Talking about holding the biggest international junior tennis tournament in the country, the secretary general of AITA, Mr. Anil Khanna, emphasised the commitment of the association towards supporting juniors.

The results (qualifying event):
