WARANGAL, JAN. 31. A youth was stabbed to death while two others were seriously injured allegedly by one Shoukatullah Baig and his accomplices late last night here. The police said A. Srinivas died on the spot while his friends -- Satish and Markandeya -- suffered serious injuries when they were attacked for allegedly teasing a girl. The police said Rajavardhan, Gopi and Srinivas Reddy of Adilabad district, all students of St Peters B Ed college, were staying in Gokulanagar near the college. Their neighbour, Md Allah Baksh, an Armed Reserve Constable, had been nursing a grouse against them, allegedly because they had been teasing his daughter. On Friday night, Baksh, accompanied by his relatives, allegedly came to the room of Rajavardhan and an argument ensued. Sensing trouble, the students ran to their friends' place nearby. When their friends -- A Srinivas, Satish and Markandeyulu - were said to have wanted to know what the matter was, Allah Baksh, Shoukatullah, Aziz, Zakir and Khaza Pasha allegedly took out knives and stabbed them, resulting in the instantaneous death of Srinivas. Injured Satish and Markandeya were shifted to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital where their condition was stated to be serious. The police took into custody all suspected persons numbering seven. The district police suspended Allah Baksh for his alleged involvement in the murder case. Cases were registered under Sections IPC 148, 302 and 307 read with Section 149.
