Cuddapah
By Our Staff Reporter
CUDDAPAH, JAN. 31. The Principal Secretary of Tourism, Chandana Khan, on Saturday directed officials to widely publicise the places of historical and tourist importance in Cuddapah district. Speaking after flagging off a tourist circuit bus from Cuddapah to Siddhavatam fort and the pilgrim centre, Brahmamgari Matham in the Collectorate, she advised the District Collector, Jayesh Ranjan, to display tourist information boards, depicting tourist spots and bus timings, in all Government offices, including the Collectorate, bus stands and marriage halls. She suggested to the APSRTC Cuddapah Divisional Manager, Nagendra Prasad, to run tourist special buses on weekends and to explore the scope for fixing a concessional fare in buses to attract tourists.
