Teachers thank CM

VIJAYAWADA, JAN. 31. The Affiliated College Teachers Association of Andhra Pradesh has hailed the Government's decision to extend the exemption of NET/SLET to enable private-aided college lecturers get University Grants Commission pay scales.

In a statement, the association zonal secretary, N.A. Francis Xavier, thanked the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, for the gesture.

He urged Mr. Naidu to issue the necessary orders for fulfilling the other demands of the association.
