Saudi stampede: no victims from State

HYDERABAD, FEB. 1. There are no pilgrims from the State reported among the dead or injured in the tragedy at Mina in Saudi Arabia where hundreds of Haj pilgrims were involved in a stampede, according to initial reports. However, the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has asked the Secretary, Political General Administration Department (GAD) to contact the Saudi Consulate, the Haj Office and the Indian Embassy in Saudi to know the details of the incident.
