Talks on seats sharing between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the All-India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam for the Lok Sabha elections were progressing smoothly, the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani, said today. ``I do not see any problems.'' Talking to mediapersons after a dinner meeting with the Chief Minister and AIADMK general secretary, Jayalalithaa, he said the talks would be conducted by the BJP State unit. He said the two parties resolved that the Vajpayee Government should receive a renewed mandate. ``We are confident that it is going to happen.'' In the 10 years before A.B. Vajpayee became Prime Minister, the country had seen seven Prime Ministers. But in the last five-and-a-half years it saw just one Prime Minister, Mr. Advani said.
