Decks cleared for handing over site to IMG

HYDERABAD, FEB. 1. The decks have been cleared for the formal handing over of 400 acres of land, belonging to University of Hyderabad (UoH), to the United States-based International Management Group (IMG) to set up the IMG Bharata Academy, near Gachibowli.

With the university authorities willing to amend the original clause, which otherwise insisted that the university would agree for the transfer of its land if and when only the State Government facilitated a similar area of land in lieu of that, officials heaved a sigh of relief. The agreement for the transfer of the land between the Government and the university is expected to be signed this week. The Ranga Reddy Collector has been asked to issue proceedings in this regard.
