Mahila Samakhya for one-third seats to women

By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD, FEB. 2. The Andhra Pradesh Mahila Samakhya has asked all political parties to allot one-third Assembly and Lok Sabha seats to women in the coming elections and criticised the NDA Government for failing to get the Women's Reservation Bill approved.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the Samakhya president, Chandra Rajakumari, general secretaries, Pasya Padma and Prem Pavani, also found fault with the Chief Minister, N.Chandrababu Naidu, for not bringing pressure on the Centre for the passage of the Bill.
