CPI (M) condemns advertisement blitz

By Our Special Correspondent

CHENNAI, FEB. 2. The Communist Party of India (Marxist) today criticised the National Democratic Alliance led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for allegedly indulging in an advertisement blitz to improve the BJP's prospects in the Lok Sabha election.

In a statement here, the State unit said the advertisements being issued everyday were not only misuse of power but also against parliamentary norms. The Government had been making a new announcement every day, flouting all democratic principles and Election Commission's rules.
